ANNEX GENERAL REGULATION
1. MODALITY: Latin / Standard and Rhytm / Smooth

1. The competition must be within the assigned modality

2. The rhythms in each modality are:

Latin: Chacha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble

Standard: Waltz, Int. Tango, Quickstep, V. Waltz, Foxtrot

Rhythm: Chacha, Rumba, A. Swing, Bolero, Mambo < /p>

Smooth: Waltz, Int Tango, Foxtrot, V. Waltz

2. CATEGORIES

1. AMATEUR:

1.1. Latin: Single Dance, Bronze (E) Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba / Silver (D) Samba, Chacha, Rumba, Jive / Gold (C) Samba, Chacha, Rumba, Pasodoble, Jive and Exhibition

1.2. Standard: Single Dance, Bronze (E) Waltz, Tango, Quickstep / Silver (D) Waltz, Tango, Slow Fox, Quickstep / Gold (C) Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Fox, Quickstep and Exhibition

1.3. Rhythm: Single Dance, Bronze (E), Silver (D), Gold (C) and Exhibition

2. PRO/AM:

2.1. Latin: Single Dance, Multidance, Scholarship, Exhibition

3. OPEN:

3.1. Latin: Open Formation Team and Open to the World

3. COUPLE

Couples will be made up only of one female person and one male person, two elements in total.

4. SAME GENDER

Couples will be made up of only two athletes of the same gender.

5. FIGURES, SYLLABUS AND STYLE

1. The figures are those stipulated by the World Dance Sport Federation (WSDF) and the ABDADF, within the dance sport competition regulations.

2. The figures are regulated within the SYLLABUS books of each rhythm published by the WSDF.

3. The style must be attached to the corresponding rhythm.

6. BASIS OF THE ROUTINE

1. Each couple must have a routine of the rhythms to compete, complying with the beats per minute specified in the following table:

2. Acrobatics where one of the members of the couple loses contact with both feet on the floor with the help of the couple are not allowed.

3. Category E and D routines must use only the figures corresponding to each category.

7. DURATION AND SELECTION OF MUSIC

1. The duration of the rhythms will be 1:15 to 1:30 minutes without counting introduction; and the duration of the rhythm.

8. COSTUME

1. The clothing must correspond to the characteristics of each discipline.

2. The generalities of the costume must be respected (see Official Regulations)

9. DURING THE COMPETITION

9.1. Participants will have to be on or near the track, waiting for their participation.

9.2. The number is delivered to you on the same day of the event.

10. JUDGES

The jury will be made up of a minimum of three people who are experts in sports dance and have experience in the field.

11. ASSESSMENT FIELDS AND RATING SYSTEM

1. The evaluation of the competencies by the judges will be in accordance with the following four assessment fields:

2. Depending on the number of couples, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals may be held.

3. In rounds prior to the final the judges will select the couples that go to the next round and with the skating system it will be determined who passes by majority. Once there are only 6 couples (7, if there is a tie) in the final, the judges under these same scoring fields will order the corresponding couples from 1st to 6th place, as indicated by the skating system.

12. SANCTIONS

1. Failure to adhere to these instructions will be punished by giving the couple last place.

2. No cleans or assisted lifts will be allowed, if they are performed, they will be disqualified (clean will be when both feet are taken off the floor with the help of another person).

13. AWARD

1. First, second and third place will be awarded with trophies and medals for 4th and higher

2. In single dance with medal for first place and Ribbons from second to sixth.

14. EXHIBITION

1. They can present one or more previously announced rhythms with their own music
