DANCE CUP ANNEX

• The competition will be held in the Open category, meaning it will not be divided by experience level or discipline. It will only be divided by age groups, which will be defined in the official call based on the registrations received.
• The organization reserves the right to merge age groups if any category has fewer than two performances.
• Only dancers who placed in the top three of their category (Solo or Duo/Trio) at the Panamá Open Dance Fest, Costa Rica Open Dance Fest, or México Open Dance Fest will be eligible to participate.
• Participation in pair or team formats will not be allowed.
• Each soloist may participate with only one routine.
• At the Dance Cup, only the Showdance category will be allowed; therefore, the following modalities will not be included: Social, Single Dance, Multidance, Scholarship, Championship, among others.

• The first-place winners from each country will receive free registration for the Dance Cup.
• Second- and third-place winners from each country may participate but must pay the regular registration fee.
• Participants of the México Open Dance Fest will receive a 50% discount on the Dance Cup registration.

• The Dance Cup will take place on the same weekend as the México Open Dance Fest.
• This special competition will be held on Sunday, at the end of the official schedule of the México Open Dance Fest, at the same venue.
• The exact time will be determined on the day of the event.

The registration process must be completed following the official format of the México Open Dance Fest.

• The official regulations of the Open Dance Fest will serve as the basis for the development of the Dance Cup, including evaluation criteria, performance times, and the overall competition format.
• Participants are strongly encouraged to review the general regulations to ensure compliance with all technical and artistic guidelines.

Only the top three places in each age group will be awarded trophies.

• The organization reserves the right of admission, as well as the right to make adjustments to the regulations based on the needs of the event.
• Any situation not covered in these regulations will be resolved by the organizing committee.
